About the event
The Triduum culminates in this most holy of nights when light shines in the darkness with the lighting of the Paschal candle, the singing of the Exsultet and the proclamation of Easter. The service is full of mystery, reverence and awe.
Children and families are encourage to be part of the worship, starting outside with the whole congregation with the lighting of the Pashcal candle. Separate activities for children take place in the centre at various points during the service.
The Vigil is followed by an Easter barbeque, fireworks, activities and a film for children, and a sleepover for older children.
