Sacramental Healing Ministry
Are any among you sick? They should call for the elders of the church and have them pray over them, anointing them with oil in the name of the Lord.
Every other month, during our Sunday service we offer the Sacramental Ministry of Healing. During communion, anyone who wishes is welcome to go to the Lady Chapel for 1) the Laying on of Hands by our lay ministers and/or 2) Anointing with Oil by a priest.

These are offered as a part of the church’s sacramental ministry of healing where sacramental means using physical things such as touch and oil as means of offering grace as promised by Jesus.
The Healing Ministry continues the ministry of Jesus himself whose healing, reconciling, and restorative presence is already given to us in the Eucharist through the Holy Spirit and whose grace empowers us all to be ministers of God’s healing to others.

Sacramental healing ministry is a key part of this ministry and is principally focused on our spiritual well-being while recognising how intimately connected this is to our physical, emotional, intellectual, and social lives.
You may ask for Laying on of Hands for yourself or on someone else’s behalf or both. Anointing can be repeated even if you have received it recently. Lay ministers will guide you at the Lady Chapel. You can choose to have both the Laying on of Hands and Anointing or simply one of them.
